  20.    The ZIP drive is more compatible with the Amiga than any CD-ROM drive,
  21. since CD-ROMs require special device drivers and filesystems, whereas the ZIP
  22. only requires a mountlist entry.  Squirrel Zip Tools performs the same
  23. function as the PC and Mac Iomega Zip Tools, namely, read/write protection of
  24. cartridges, password protection, and software eject.
  25.    The JAZ drive also requires tools to perform these same functions.  Oregon
  26. Research says they'll have Squirrel Jaz Tools (I'm guessing they'll call it
  27. that) out soon.  They say the drives are slightly different, but the changes
  28. to the software are trivial.  (Why Iomega didn't make them exactly alike
  29. escapes me.)
